Flower Arranging Tips
Tips for arranging flowers in a container:
- Use a clean container.
- Fill with water at room temperature.
- Don't overfill the container - putting in the stems could cause overflow.
- Add floral preservative to the water (if available).
- Remove any greenery that will be under water.
- Make sure your arrangement looks nice from all viewing angles.
- Add non-flowering greenery or baby's breath to make a fuller arrangement.
- Stems should not be longer than twice the height of the container.
- Place flowers with the largest blooms toward the front.
- Watch the water level and add more water to keep the level constant.
